What changed between the Q1 2026 and Q2 2026 filings?
Flock matches the two filings position by position and ranks on share-count changes, because a value change alone can be the quarter's price move. From the "Changes vs Q1 2026" section, read 19 September 2026:
- Newly reported: Apple Inc (835,000 shares, $241.6M), Boeing Co (800,000, $173.2M), American Airlines Group (7,500,000, $135.5M), CoreWeave Inc (1,078,248, $107.3M), Broadcom Inc (150,000, $56.7M), Space Exploration Technologies Corp (225,000, $38.4M), Berkshire Hathaway Inc (25,000, $12.5M) and Goodyear Tire & Rubber (1,508,591, $10.0M).
- No longer reported: SanDisk Corp (281,250 shares, $178.7M in the Q1 filing), Corning Inc (1,129,500, $153.6M), PDD Holdings (900,000, $92.0M), L3Harris Technologies (198,000, $68.3M), RTX Corp (342,000, $66.0M), Ball Corp (837,000, $49.5M) and JD.com, among others listed on the page.
- Increases in continuing positions: Uber Technologies (+1,361,351 shares), Amazon.com (+680,000), Taiwan Semiconductor (+322,500), Alphabet (+117,300) and iShares (+25,000).
- Decreases in continuing positions: Micron Technology (-690,000 shares).
The position count fell from 31 to 27 even though eight lines are new, because more lines dropped out than came in. Appaloosa appears in Flock's consensus adds for Q2 2026 as one of the filers that increased or newly reported Amazon, Meta Platforms, Taiwan Semiconductor, Nvidia, Alphabet Class C and Space Exploration Technologies Corp.
How to read the Appaloosa 13F
A concentrated book reads differently from a long one. With 27 lines, the top two positions are 30% of reported value and the top six are 62%. A single share-count change moves the shape of the table in a way it would not for a 90-line filer such as Duquesne Family Office.
"No longer reported" is an endpoint, not a date. The 13F shows that SanDisk was in the book on 31 March and not on 30 June. It does not say when in the quarter the line went, or at what price. The Q1 valuation shown is the last one the filings carry.
Quarter-end, filed six weeks later. Positions are as of 30 June 2026 and became public on 14 August 2026. The Q3 2026 filing is due within 45 days of 30 September 2026.
The firm files, not the person. The form is filed by Appaloosa LP. Flock's David Tepper superinvestor page frames the same filing by the investor who founded the filer, and says so.
Long US-listed positions only. Short positions, credit, non-US listings and derivatives that are not Section 13(f) securities are not on the form. The 27 lines are the disclosed long US equity book.
